Close Combat and Fitness, LLC has worked with child psychologists, fitness experts and education professionals to design this unique self-defense program for kids, pre-teens and early teens. Using the dynamic principles of Krav Maga (Israili Self Defense), we strived to design a program that was physical in strong defensive moves and still would be School Safe.The result was  a Kids Krav Maga program - Kids Maga. The term Kids Maga comes from the two ideas the program is designed around: Kids (not a watered down adult program) and Maga (the Hebrew term for Contact or Close). So "Kids Close/Contact" teaches children self-DEFENSE.

We know that parents are constantly juggling their schedules to allow their child to explore a variety of activities. The Kids Maga program is not designed to replace any of those activities.  Our curriculum is designed to allow the children to learn the curriculum at their own pace whether they attend every class during the week or only one.

The Kids Maga program was launched in January, 2010 and classes will be divided into kids (ages 7-10) and youth classes (ages 11-14).  Class sizes will be limited so don't wait to enroll your child early.  Early registration is being accepted.

Kids Maga Program for Ages 7-10 - The Kids Maga Program for ages 7-10 is geared toward providing a fun martial arts curriculum while instilling the positive, life-changing benefits of Reality Based Protection Programs: respect for others, self-confidence, courtesy, obedience, humility, perseverance, honesty, integrity, and self-control. This class emphasizes goal-setting and positive reinforcement of success habits while teaching children how to stay safe and avoid violent confrontations.  Tons of fun!

Kids Maga Program for Ages 11-14 - The Kids Maga Program for Tweens and Teens is designed to be a complete approach to training in the martial arts for ages 11-14.  Since the main focus of the training in this class is on the exciting martial arts curriculum while instilling the positive, life-changing benefits of Reality Based Protection Programs, Tweens and teens are never bored with the classes!  Students that enter this class learn focus and respect while building self-confidence and developing a positive mental attitude.  Kids Maga for Tweens and Teens is a great self-esteem builder as well!
